On-Line Name: Ernest D. Siravo Since graduating as an honor student at the University of California, Mr. Siravo has worked extensively in the field of stress-reduction and stress management. In 1973, he studied directly with India's prominent Yogic Master, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Soon thereafter, Mr. Siravo was to become a Founder of one of the Maharishi's most successful and influential Transcendental Meditation (TM) centers worldwide; then, in the area of Washington, D.C.. He later attended the original Maharishi International University as one of its pioneer and founding graduate students in beautiful Santa Barbara, California, and returned to Washington, D.C. to introduce the extension campus of the newly established MIU to the nation's capital. Ernest Siravo has personally instructed Transcendental
Meditation to hundreds of students over the years, and has given introductory
and advanced presentations on this ancient Vedic technology to thousands of
individuals in Washington, D.C., Silver Spring and Ocean City, Maryland,
Berkeley, Palo Alto, and San Jose, California, Beijing,
China and in Maharishi's homeland of India; where he worked closely with Indian
nationals in Bombay, Gujurat and Calcutta. In early 1980, Mr.Siravo teamed-up with colleague, and
later to be Star Alliance Foundation Co-Founder, Peter DuMont, to begin the
Mountain-Wise Group dedicated to establishing an integrated community of Yogic
Flyers in Northern California. Shortly thereafter, he was invited to be the
Coordinator of the Love Foundation, founded by lead-singer Mike
Love of the Beach Boys established as a funding source for aspiring
musicians and promising vocal artists. The Star Alliance Foundation was a natural next step when in 1985 Mr. DuMont and Mr. Siravo, after creating Stars for Peace International, thought to organize the untold numbers of National and International peace groups and community organizations under a single, cohesive banner. It was as a Founder of the Star Alliance, and as Producer/Director of the weekly Star Alliance World Peace Television Show, that Siravo was able to better hone many of his executive and creative skills. As a result, he has brought and continues to bring these same skills to bear, in a consultancy capacity, on a wide variety of non-profit and profit-making ventures and entities. Star Alliance Global Goodwill Tours was established in 1992
by Ernest Siravo, beginning with highlights of San Francisco, Berkeley,
Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and Northern California, and later in 1995, in conjunction
with Gandhi International Memorial Foundation, arranged for group and private
audiences with Pope John Paul
II in Rome, Italy, Mother
Teresa of Calcutta in India, and with much-acclaimed Satya
Sai Baba in Puttaparty. Having inaugurated the international scope of
Star Alliance's Global Goodwill Tours, in 1996, Mr. Siravo began the first of
seven such Star Alliance Tours in the Peoples' Republic of China (PRC) sharing
plans, vision and leadership for the creation of a Star Alliance Friendship
House in Kunming City, the Capital City of Southwest China's Yunnan Province. Star Alliance Tours, in conjunction with Star
Alliance Worldwide Limousine
Network, continues to offer private and group Limousine, Cable Car and Bus
Tours of the San Francisco Bay Area, domestic ground transportation and tours in
major cities throughout the U.S., as well as, international tours to Nepal, China, India
and France. For further information and/or inquiries, as well as, for
